2001

It All Started in a Manhattan Apartment

Water Tech founder and CEO, Guy Erlich, formed the company from his Upper West Side apartment. Taking meetings in nearby coffee shops, his bathtub served as his product test lab.

2004

Pool Buster Max Launches

Fitness legend Jack LaLanne signs on as company spokesman!

2005 - 2010

Rapid Growth and Expansion

Scaling up to a proper headquarters in northern New Jersey, Water Tech releases the Catfish, the Aqua Broom and the Pool Blaster Max CG while the Pool Blaster Pro hits the commercial market.

These products win a number of industry awards presented by WHO?

2011

We Need More Space!

Water Tech upgrades to a 15,000 square foot space to accommodate a growing team consisting of product designers, salespeople and support specialists.

2012 - 2016

Innovation, Innovation, Innovation

To satisfy a growing customer base, Water Tech expands the Pool Blaster Catfish line of products to include the Catfish Ultra, and the Pool Blaster Max line to include the Max HD and Millenium. The Volt line launches for brick and mortar partners alongside the Pool Blaster Leaf Vac and Spa Vac.

Commercial offerings expand with the release of Water Tech Precision, featuring a high capacity debris chamber and the most powerful Water Tech engine yet.

Pool & Spa News names the Pool Blaster Pro 1500 the best new product of 2012. And yet again, Water Tech expands its physical footprint, growing into a 23,000 square foot space.

Pool Blaster Aqua Broom Recharge Unveiled

Ideal for tight spaces, the Pool Blaster Aqua Broom Recharge gives pool owners the cordless vacuum they need to quickly remove debris, leaves, sand and algae.

The Robots Arrive

Cordless, rechargeable and packed with innovative features, the Pool Blaster CX-1 and Volt 550 hit the market. Capable of filtering 7,200 gallons per hour, these easy-to-use robots effectively redefine residential pool cleaning.
